elevated RQgy2 It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Lynn Young on July 21, 2026, at North York General Hospital, at the age of 87.
elevated RQgy2 Beloved and devoted mother to Wendi (Bruce), proud aunt to Liza (Joe), and Rodney, cherished Goo-Poa to Jalyn. Her love and appreciation for her family and dearest friends was always unwavering, and she treasured every moment spent with those closest to her.
elevated RQgy2 While she was born in Toronto and moved back there in 2009 to live closer to family, most of her life was spent in Montreal where she was a loyal and passionate supporter of Les Canadiens, Montreal Alouettes, and Montreal Expos. A known book worm, she held a special interest in reading and learning about history, especially World War II. After retirement she taught herself how to draw and sketch, and she derived much pleasure from this pastime. But most of all, she enjoyed simple gatherings, sitting at a kitchen table sharing a meal, a drink, and conversation in the company of those people whom she so very much cherished.
elevated RQgy2 She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she leaves behind.
