January 19, 1942 – June 1, 2024

elevated zhfjb It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yong Ki Kim. He passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, surrounded by his wife and family.

elevated zhfjb Born in Seoul, South Korea in 1942 he moved to Canada where he made his house a home and where he raised a beautiful and loving family.

elevated zhfjb Kim, Yong Ki was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own.

elevated zhfjb Kim, Yong Ki was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. We’ll love and miss him until we reunite again.

elevated zhfjb Yong Ki Kim is survived by his wife Kong Ja Kim of 54 years, daughter Anne (Alano) and in loving memory, son Andrew (Liza), brothers and sisters, 4 grandchildren Brianne (Josh}, Jhoanne, Alane and Tabitha, and 2 great-grandchildren Naomi and Genevieve, and a lot of nieces and nephews.

elevated zhfjb Kim, Yong Ki’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honoured to have had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kind-heartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
