It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zbigniew Babula on June 6, 2024. He will be missed greatly by his wife Halina, his children Victoria, Michael and Joanna, son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Rosalie and Julianna, his sister Elizabeth and brother Józef, nieces Natalie and Sylvia, nephew Andrzej, his extended family in Poland and in Canada, and his many friends. Above all, Zbigniew lived for his family. He was a wonderful friend. Everyone enjoyed talking to him. He loved music, nature and sports, especially tennis. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

My Wujek. The most incredible human being. Kind, loyal, honest, loving, funny, attentive…the list goes on. He was like no other. Those who knew him will never forget him. He was an angel on earth and now an angel in heaven watching over us. It was an honour being your niece although I always felt like I was one of your daughters. Your love will live in our hearts for eternity. Until we see each other again my loving Wujek. Your serduszko ❤️
Ziggy was an amazing person who loved with his whole heart. He was the most genuine person I have ever met. Anyone the knew him loved him. I loved being around him at all of our family functions. He lit up every room he was in and was so great at telling stories about experiences he has had in his life. He was so captivating. He lived his life to the fullest and will be so deeply missed. This is extremely sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. We love you Ziggy.

I am heartbroken to hear of Ziggy’s passing. He did not get the lengthy retirement he deserved. He was a wonderful kind hearted man. We worked together for many years. He always treated everyone in the accounting department with the highest respect which he attributed to his wife and how hard she worked. His love for her and his family was always present with every story he would tell. My prayers and deepest condolences are with you during this very difficult time.
My dear friend Halina it is with a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to such an amazing man. I loved our laughs over sweets and dry cleaners that shrunk clothes! Halina you are a rock! My heart broke hearing that Wujek Zbyszek had died. My deepest condolences to all of you. He was truly an angel on Earth, one of the most special people I have had the honour of knowing. He radiated love, kindness, warmth, and a love for life. As a child, he was my favourite Wujek because to be around him was to feel happy and loved. I will miss him dearly. I have no doubt he is now an angel in heaven and resting in peace.
I wish that I could be there today, but unfortunately I am out of the country this week. I am sending you love, strength and prayers and will be in spirit with all of you.
