elevated 35qe0 Carmela Spano, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday July 21, 2018. She was 91 years old.

elevated 35qe0 Loving wife of the late Francesco Spano. She leaves her son Joe, spouse Mary, son Mike, spouse Judy. Grandchildren Frank, Carmela, spouse Stelios, Michelle. Great grandchildren Katerina, Vassilios, Joseph.

elevated 35qe0 In her early years she was employed as a dressmaker in the textile and garment industries in the heart of Toronto which is now known as the fashion district. After she retired she became a homemaker,  attended to her lovely flower garden, visited friends and many family gatherings . She loved playing cards (scopa and briscola) with my Dad, family and  friends,  as well as  looking after her young grandchildren.

elevated 35qe0 Carmela lived life  with compassion, empathy , kindness and generosity towards  family and friends.

elevated 35qe0 Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff at Woodbridge Vista Care Community during her remaining years.
