elevated Kerbp Obituary
With heavy hearts we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Doreen Mary LeBlanc (nee Arsenault) who left us on Monday, September 15th 2025 at the age of 89.
elevated Kerbp Born and raised in the gentle beauty of Prince Edward Island, Doreen carried the warmth and strength of her island roots with her throughout her life. As a young woman she moved to Toronto, where fate brought her together with the love of her life, Norman. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and quiet resilience. They created a warm and welcoming home, first on Muir Avenue and later on Louis Drive in Mississauga, where they raised their family and became a much-loved part of the neighbourhood.
elevated Kerbp Doreen was the devoted mother of seven children, Rick (Beverly), Debbie, Gary (May), Cindy (Harry), Randy, Corey (Anne) and Laurie, the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, and a joyful great-grandmother to seven little ones, with another one on the way. She was the dear sister of the late Ernest, Ada, Raymond and Clifford, and shared a special closeness with her surviving brother Ivan.
elevated Kerbp Doreen’s heart was her true gift. She had a way of making everyone feel at home—whether it was with a warm meal, a kind word, or simply her gentle presence. Her kitchen table was never too full, and her door was never closed to anyone who needed a place to sit, talk, or just be. Those who knew her will remember her quiet strength, her patience, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
elevated Kerbp She will be remembered for her boundless love, unshakable patience, and gentle strength. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her children and the memories that will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
elevated Kerbp She is predeceased by her beloved husband Norman, and will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
elevated Kerbp A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 11:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, 4070 Central Parkway East, Mississauga. Internment at Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga and a reception lunch will follow.
elevated Kerbp In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Compass Food Bank.
elevated Kerbp Her love was our greatest blessing, and her spirit will live on in all of us.

Doreen was my next door neighbour at Chartwell. She will be missed.
I am so sorry My condolences goes out to all the family
I am devastated to have heard Doreen passed away. I last spoke to her on August 22. She sounded GREAT. I remember thinking as we talked that conversing with her was like conversing with a contemporary….I think I even told her that before. She was sharp as a tack, thoughtful, kind, and one heck of a slot/BINGO player! In my talks she would always share updates about the people she cared about and loved. I am lucky I got a Part 2 with her….from Heritage Glen to The Shores where we both ended up (me for a bit with the latter). I’m so pleased I got to meet Ivan too. Love to him during this difficult time as well….they really looked after each other. I am so, so sorry to all of you. She LOVED you. And she was one hell of a lady!!!
