elevated wakk5 Passed away suddenly at home.
elevated wakk5 Survived by wife Chris (Giusti), daughter Erin (Kyle) Thomas, grandchildren Isla and Garner Thomas. Brother of Janet Braun. Brother-in-law of Dianne Giusti, June Suddard, Jo-Anne Giusti (deceased), Janet Giusti (deceased). Uncle “Unk” to Tracy Giusti.
elevated wakk5 Ed – gentle, warm, generous, loving. Known to many as “Big Ed”, he was our rock, our strength. He loved his family, extended family, friends, his dogs, playing cards, travelling, posing for photos and Grand Marnier. Always smiling, he had a great sense of humour, told some corny jokes and secretly enjoyed the Hallmark Christmas movies that were nestled in Evergreen. He didn’t mind being the center of attention – actually he enjoyed it – and loved a party and having his home full of family and friends. He had friends everywhere, continually running into people regardless of where he was.
elevated wakk5 Married for 45+ amazing years, Chris and Ed always enjoyed family, friends and travelling. Ed’s absolute pride and joy was his daughter Erin, and the extraordinary relationship that they shared. Grabbing a coffee, dinner, trips to the boat show or the Indy races. It didn’t matter where; they just enjoyed each other’s company.
elevated wakk5 With the arrival of the grandkids, Ed discovered Facebook Marketplace and was always sourcing a new “treasure” for them, constantly surprising the kids – and their parents – with his latest find. He cherished his time with the kids. He was the “fixer” of everything for everyone, but especially the grandkids – if it was broken, call DziaDzia.
elevated wakk5 Over the years, Ed was involved in curling, pool, bowling, but his great passion was golf. Following retirement, he loved working part time for various golf courses. His most recent being the Toronto Golf Club, where he met and enjoyed a new group of cherished friends and colleagues.
elevated wakk5 Throughout his 40-year career in industrial oils with various companies, in various capacities, he enjoyed and continued to be a member of S.T.L.E., still serving as Treasurer (Toronto Chapter).
elevated wakk5 To say he will be missed is simply not enough. He was so much to so many. He will remain a huge presence in our lives. Thank God for the many happy memories. If desired, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation in Ed’s name would be appreciated.
elevated wakk5 At his request, Ed has been cremated and there will be a celebration of life:
elevated wakk5 Sunday, March 3rd 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

As cousins of Chris and Ed, as well as Erin, Tracy and the whole Guisti family, we have always been close to them.
Ed was a great guy and very funny, always made me laugh.
One memory stands out that I will never forget.
Myrtle beach has a million visitors at anyone time, while my wife Danette and were there for our first anniversary, one early morning from our balcony, we saw one single person walking on the beach, no one else just this one person admiring the sun rise and waves.
As he got closer to us, we were shocked to see it was Ed.
We ran over today hi.
Something we still talk about and will never forget.
Cheers to Ed.
My thoughts and prayers for Ed’s family. I served many years in the STLE family with Ed as well as in the lubricants competitive field. Yes, Ed always had a smile and was a great pleasure to work with.

Our deepest condolences to Chris, Erin, Kyle, Isla, Garner and all of Ed’s family. We did not know Ed well but met up with him at family functions. It was a well known fact your family was so very close. Our hearts break for Chris and Erin. We know your loss is tremendous.
Your memories of all the good times spent together will eventually sustain you and you will smile and remember those good times.
We know how much Ed will be missed.
Dear Chris. Erin and the entire Milanczak family our most heartfelt condolences of Ed’s sudden passing. We were fortunate to have been welcomed into Ed and Chris’s circle of friends and family on multiple occasions and always had a great time catching up and more than a few laughs. What sticks out the most to me is when Ed and I sat down and started talking about talking care of our grand-daughters, how his face lit up, his smile got bigger (if that’s even possible) and the joy it brought him.
This is the true measure of the man.
Our most heartfelt condolences Erin & Kyle and to your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May your cherished memories bring you comfort and peace and may your dear father rest in peace.
Anita & Gary Niklas (parents of Alexander & Venessa)
Thinking about you and sending hugs. Cherish all your special memories.

Always dedicated to the task at hand but primarily to his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. I am sure he will be a guardian angel to all.
Sincere condolences from All Kopec family sends LIDA Berka, deceased Mitch Kopec(cousin) spouse.
Our deepest condolences and warm thoughts during this time. Ed and the Milanczak family was a core part of my upbringing and apart of many of my favorite childhood memories. The thing that stands out the most about Ed was his kindness, calmness and his love and pride for his family. It was always felt. He was a big presence and had a big heart. Thank you Ed for being a part (no matter how big or small) to each person who crossed your path. You will be missed greatly.
To the Milanczak clan, he will always live on in all of you. Don’t stop sharing his life and stories. We are here for you in anyway you may need it. Big hugs xoxo
Jasmine, Marc and Quinton
Dear Chris, Erin and family,
My deepest sympathy. May God and the memories you hold dear bring you comfort. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Remembering Ed – my mind has raced looking back over the past 4plus decades. It just doesn’t seem possible that those many years have gone by since I met Chris’ ‘fiancé’. It was plain to see Ed was truly smitten, Chris had stolen his heart. And, you could tell by the look on her face that she adored him.
Over the years we spent many happy times together and our kids were fast friends. Ed knew how to make everyone smile, he was a good listener, a gentle soul and most sincere in everything he put his heart and mind to. Ed is definitely a tough act to follow. He created so many beautiful memories, a life you can truly celebrate even as you grieve.
His legacy lives on in the lives Ed touched. In celebration of a life so beautifully lived and a heart so deeply loved. To Chris, Erin and family from friends Sharon, Tom, Dan and Ryan. Our love and prayers.
To Chris and family, my deepest condolences to you all.
May he rest in peace.
May you all find comfort in all of your wonderful memories.
God Bless
