Father in law of Cheryl, Annil and Melissa. Cherished grandfather of Gisele, Tobin, Chloe, Lucas, Celine and Lila. Dear brother of Rajakumaran, Joy, Marina, Moira, Mercy, Elmo, Terrance, Linus (late). Brother in law of Nessy, Selvini, Peter (late), Jayanthan, Jeyanthakumar (late), Prescilla and Chandra. Brother in law of Marianayagam and Jeyanthi, Ambika (late) and Mariampillai, Vanitha and Singarayer (late), Nirmalanayagam and Dulcini. Son of the late Edwin Saverimuttu and Rasathy Edwin and Son in law of the late SJN Rasanayagam and Ruby Rasanayagam.

I worked with Ed for many years, where l was a tech engineer in the Data Center. At various times l would have to come in and work for an issue while Ed was working. Frequently getting home later than normal due to the conversations Ed and l would strike up. Never about work just about life, his kids (how proud l could tell), Sri Lanka and life in general. Ed was always willing to help if l needed it. Was missed by us when he retired but was saddened by this early news. God Bless his family and give his family comfort that Ed was well liked by everyone.
