elevated t2ct4 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Giuseppina Spadafora, nee Borghese.
elevated t2ct4 She was with three of her children, Berardo, Arturo and Giulio when
elevated t2ct4 she passed away peacefully in the arms of her youngest child, Giulio.
elevated t2ct4 Giuseppina was born in Cellara, Cosenza.
elevated t2ct4 Cherished daughter of the late Arturo & the late Rosina Borghese, and daughter-in-law of the late Berardo & Rosaria Spadafora.
elevated t2ct4 Adoring sister to Ippolito (Anna Maria) and to the late Elena (Antonio).
elevated t2ct4 Giuseppina was married to the love of her life, the late Gaetano for
elevated t2ct4 39 years. Together they had six children, Sarina (Mario), Berardo, Arturo (Danilla), Adriana (John), Sebastiano (Franca) & Giulio (Monica).
elevated t2ct4 Loving nonna of Cristina (Fabrizio), JohnPaul (Diana), Valeria
elevated t2ct4 (Andres), Vanessa (Carlos), Adamo (Ashley), Daniella (Daniel), Laura, David, Cassandra and Roberto Gaetano.
elevated t2ct4 Adoring bis-nonna of Domenic, Alessio, Sophia, Isabella, Sienna, Lia & Lorenzo.
elevated t2ct4 She will forever be in the hearts of her sisters-in-law, Rosetta (late
elevated t2ct4 Unildo), Onorina (late Peppino), Rita, (late Aldo.S.), Ermelinda (late Giovanni), Rosetta (late Aurelio), and Nella (late Aldo.N.).
elevated t2ct4 She’ll be missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins & friends whom she loved dearly.
elevated t2ct4 Respecting the current situation & pandemic restrictions, the funeral service and interment will be private.

Nonna, you were my best friend growing up. I will never forget when Mom announced she was making something I didn’t particularly want for dinner (lol) – you would start working your magic in the kitchen. The days when I was “sick” from school, you would gladly have me over and we’d spend the whole day together. Such awesome memories that I will cherish the rest of my life.
I can’t thank you enough for everything you taught me, along with the values you distilled on me. You were the most selfless, loving, and beautiful woman – inside and out – and I am so happy I had the privilege of calling you my Nonna. The world simply does not make them like you anymore.

There are so many beautiful memories I have of you, but the one I want to share now is one that I continue to do.
Every night, you & I would say the Hail Mary prayer in Italian. At the end of the prayer though, you would ask God to protect everyone. You would list everyone’s name individually….and boy was that a long list.
Nonna, this is a memory now that I still do, but this time, you’re with me, in my heart.

It’s 1 month ago today, that I last saw your beautiful face smiling at me as you were being put into the ambulance. I watched helplessly with tears in my eyes & an ache in my heart.
My heart still breaks as if it happened just yesterday.
It breaks my heart, that I could not be there with you, when you were in the hospital.
It breaks my heart, to know that you are no longer here with us.
But, not having most of your children/grandchildren, family & friends
there, when it was time for your last goodbye, is what breaks my heart even more.
You are with papa now & together you can both rest in peace.
