elevated L2pqL Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jack Quinn on November 5, 2024, at the Scarborough General Hospital.

elevated L2pqL Jack was born on November 27th, 1945, to Alex & Mary Quinn (nee Roy) in Kirkcaldy, in the Kingdom of Fife.

elevated L2pqL Beloved husband of 54 years to Maureen. Loving father to Colin (Dominique) and Ian (Suzanne). Proud grandfather of Parker and Logan. Loving brother of Michael. Predeceased by his mother and father, and brothers, Billy, and Alex.

elevated L2pqL At 15 years of age whilst living in Scotland, Jack apprenticed at McIntosh as a cabinet maker. He moved to Canada in 1966 and worked as a carpenter, until he became a Firefighter in 1985 at the Island Airport. Jack proudly retired as the Fire Chief and Operations Foreman at Billy Bishop Airport.

elevated L2pqL “Jackie” will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered as a man who enjoyed spending time with his friends, Colin, and John, over a pint, and who loved catching a Leafs game with his sons and grandsons. Nothing made Jack happier than having his family together in the same room, alongside his dear wife, Maureen.

elevated L2pqL Your thoughts and kindness are deeply appreciated during this time of sorrow.

elevated L2pqL If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Jack may be made to Scarborough Health Network Foundation (SHN Foundation).
