elevated QSxkI Letitia you came into this world 80 years ago. You have lived your life in silence but communicating with us in your own language and making us understand every sign you made. You were caring, you were resilient, you were strong, you were compassionate, you were loving, you endured life without a complaint. You touched whoever you met with your smile and warm personality. This made you the person you were.

We shall forever be grateful for having you in our lives and being able to call our “Tisha”, our dearest eldest sister. Your passing has made a huge void in our lives, but time will fill it with beautiful memories of you.

Tisha, you wove togetherness and love into family gatherings through your genuine desire to connect with each and every one of us. Our loss is heaven’s gain – until we meet again!
Tisha you held me when I was first born, and held my kids when they were first born. You taught us empathy, love, compassion and to live life to the fullest.
My heart is broken. I will miss doing puzzles, colouring, playing cards, sweeping up crumbs, raking leaves and folding laundry with you but most of all I will miss and cherish your beautiful smile. I hope with every puzzle I complete, may a piece of my heart be filled again. You will always be the rummy card champion.
Mom, Aunty Susan, Aunty Anne, Uncle John, Uncle Mark and Uncle Mike – the way you cared of and loved your sister reflected in how she took care of and loved her nieces and nephews (and our kids). My sense of loss is nothing in comparison to what you feel and I take comfort in knowing that Tisha was loved and cherished by you and that she knew it!

The last time I saw you was on your 80th birthday. Although it was just a porch visit I’m so glad I was there to wish you on your special day. I didn’t know that would be the our last time together. I will miss your genuine laughter and smile. I will miss how you always told us how everyone was related and their birthdays. You touched each and every one of us. Rest In Peace Aunty Tisha.

God’s plan for Letitia has always been that “the Lord will be her everlasting light.” May He grant us eyes “to see beyond the clouds of earth into the glory of heaven” knowing that Letitia rests in eternal peace in the arms of our ever living, ever-loving Lord. Dear Tisha, you left us so suddenly and we miss you so much. I am so glad I got to visit you two days before Christmas and chat with you. I will always remember all the good times we had. Rest In Peace dear sister. Love you always.
Aunty Tisha touched so many people’s lives. Whether it was her incredible artwork or the way she would make us laugh when she won at Tambola every Christmas, she always added such a bright light to all of our lives. She had an amazing memory and would enjoy recalling the whole family’s birthdays and ages. We will miss Aunty Tisha’s stories, her kind smile, and the joy she would bring every time she entered a room. We love you, Aunty Tisha. Rest In Peace.

I remember you living with us from time-to-time when I was a kid and remember Nowshera, Pindi, Mississauga, Hamilton and all the other places we were together.
I remember you baby sitting us, bathing us and taking care of us.
I remember no matter what mood you were in, you always helped us.

My dear Letitia,
You were a gentle soul that God put among us. You lived your life so well.
My most vivid memory of you goes back many years when I was about 12 years old and you were 15. WhenI close my eyes I can see you going all over the place, swiftly, on those stilts!! You were an expert on them.
I regret that our friendship did not continue due to the distance between us and I only saw you a few times but you always remembered how my husband had died and expressed your sorrow.
Well, now that your time down here has come to a close I guess you must be enjoying yourself, talking a mile a minute, with your Mum, Dad and Granny.

I am so honoured and happy to have known you. I remember your smile, friendliness, energy, willingness to always help and your magical way with children. When you visited Perth so many years ago, my children also fell under your spell! You were a shining example of living and loving in the best way regardless of the challenges you faced. I will always remember when Walter and myself lived with Granny at uncle sammy’s house in west ridge pindi you were always there watching us while we played outside and helped Granny when it was time for our breakfast and dinner time .
