elevated ErocW Suddenly passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 9:15 a.m. at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket.
elevated ErocW Born May 16th, 1946, in Bitritto. Bari , Italy.
elevated ErocW Louie was so loved by many.
elevated ErocW He was the Executive Chef for many years at St. Andrew’s College, in Aurora, Ontario & Even after his retirement he continued to volunteer his time in the kitchen there.
elevated ErocW He also devoted his time to CHATS in the Wellness Program providing hot lunches for seniors on a weekly basis.
elevated ErocW He was an avid animal lover, especially to his predeceased dogs Ebony, Ryanne, Ginger, Stella and now Olivia, who miss him and his “accidental” table droppings.
elevated ErocW Louie was a kind hearted man who always put others before himself.
elevated ErocW The love that he had for his family was unconditional and beyond words.
elevated ErocW Mary, his loving wife, has lost her best friend and soulmate. They celebrated 51 years of marriage this past year. He will be sadly missed and forever loved.
elevated ErocW We will miss all the gatherings where Louie prepared all the food.
elevated ErocW Predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Angela and his siblings Ildebrando and Domenica.
elevated ErocW Survived by his wife Mary, his loving siblings Cesare (Lynda), Vince (Marilyn), Celestina (Gino) , Vito (brother in-law), Anna (sister in-law). Devoted father of his loving son Domenic (Sandra). Adored Grandpa to his 5 grandsons, Luciano, Isaac, Samuel, Benjamin and Domenic Jr. Cherished great grandfather to Emerson. Loved and missed by his Godchildren Brent, Fletcher, Angela, and Grace. Missed and loved by many friends and his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

Uncle Louie was a loving man and I will miss him so much. He was a pillar in the family holding everyone together with his positivity, good advice, and unconditional love. May God grant him peace as he is reunited with his parents and siblings..my mom must be so happy right now..she loved her little brother..her happiest moments were the trips they took together. I will forever make your lemon chicken and mushrooms..I love you with all my heart..God bless all of us as we mourn the loss of a wonderful man.

Our sincere condolences to Mary and all of Louie’s family for the loss of this special man. My wife and I still remember the happy time Louie and Mary came to visit us in the land Downunder, many years ago. He had a beautiful personality, full of life. Always positive with an infectious laugh and engaging manner. We happily remember riding with him in a rental car as he came to master driving on the right hand side of the road, also spending News Years Eve together watching the fireworks from Sydney Harbour. We also echo what many have said of his generous and engaging presence that brought a smile to all he touched. He will forever be remembered fondly in our memories. Rest in peace Louie. You left this world far too soon.
Louie oh Louie….we are so heartbroken. Our boys will never know another great man as strong and amazing as you!! You were the best Grandpa any child could wish for. You welcome my boys and myself into your family almost 13 years ago and loved us all unconditionally and without bias. You treated us as if we were your own blood. We will never forget you and our love for you will never be gone ❤ I promise we will take care of Grandma and Dom the best we know how. The days ahead will be hard but in time we shall laugh again at your kitchen table thinking about all the funny jokes you made and how you teased the kids!! And may even go after them with your bastone lol we will feast again at the table you were the head of so many years and cherish and honor the great man you were…now the food on the other hand sure wont be as tasty and im sure you will be yelling from above thats not how you do it!! The flavors of our lives are forever changed. Louie we love you with all our beings!! Gone but surely never forgotten ❤❤❤

The passing of my Hero, my mentor, my savior and the strongest most positive man I have ever had the pleasure of loving with my whole heart.
Not only am I ,but The world is at a great loss with the passing of my Father.
My Father was more than just a father to me , he was a Father that lead a Family of God Children , Niece’s and Nephew’s, Brothers and Sisters, Spouse’s and friends, Co -Workers and Business partners to mention a few. Looking into my Fathers eyes you can see his sincerity and he Loved us all with unconditional, undoubted, and undisputable LOVE and sincere concern for everyone.
Always putting himself last and never afraid to show his vulnerabilities he was the Greatest Man and we are all better people for have being able to love and enjoy this mans presents.
A Man’s Man when it was time and a loving Father Always, I consider myself the luckiest Person on the planet to be the only one he chose to be his Son.

Louie has been part of our family for over 50 years and
will be sorely missed. It is all still so surreal and my heart aches for Mary losing her soulmate. Louie had an incredible zest for life and memories of swimming at our cottage will always be with me. Rest In Peace Lou and enjoy your fur babies that went before you.
Louie was larger than life and you knew when he walked into a room. Rooms will be empty without him.
He loved cooking and was
loved by the students and his co-workers at St. Andrews College. I used to kid him I was the favourite son in law knowing full well it wasn’t true. I will miss you .
Dear Mary I know too well what you are going through. I remember when you had that terrible car accident and how strong you both were. Two weeks later Danny had a a car accident also and from m there everything went downhill for both our husbands. They both died a year apart almost. I am sure they are both playing a game of poker together and they are no longer suffering and in pain. Such a sad time that we can’t be there for you I know it’s very comforting to have family around but you also need some alone time to grieve on your own. Do not hesitate to call me if you ever want to talk.
Loved spending time with Louie and Mary. Will miss you, Louie. We loved you dearly and we are heartbroken. RIP Louie.

Luigi was a true gentleman with the biggest heart. The many times I popped by the CHATS Wellness Program, both Luigi and Mary were so welcoming and put up with my stories and dog photos. The program and seniors will miss him terribly and, of course, his cooking 🙂
