elevated Q99WN Suddenly passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 9:15 a.m. at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket.

elevated Q99WN Born May 16th, 1946, in Bitritto. Bari , Italy.

elevated Q99WN Louie was so loved by many.

elevated Q99WN He was the Executive Chef for many years at St. Andrew’s College, in Aurora, Ontario & Even after his retirement he continued to volunteer his time in the kitchen there.

elevated Q99WN He also devoted his time to CHATS in the Wellness Program providing hot lunches for seniors on a weekly basis. 

elevated Q99WN He was an avid animal lover, especially to his predeceased dogs Ebony, Ryanne, Ginger, Stella and now Olivia, who miss him and his “accidental” table droppings.

elevated Q99WN Louie was a kind hearted man who always put others before himself. 

elevated Q99WN The love that he had for his family was unconditional and beyond words.

elevated Q99WN Mary, his loving wife, has lost her best friend and soulmate. They celebrated 51 years of marriage this past year. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. 

elevated Q99WN We will miss all the gatherings where Louie prepared all the food.

elevated Q99WN Predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Angela and his siblings Ildebrando and Domenica. 

elevated Q99WN Survived by his wife Mary, his loving siblings Cesare (Lynda), Vince (Marilyn), Celestina (Gino) , Vito (brother in-law), Anna (sister in-law). Devoted father of his loving son Domenic (Sandra). Adored Grandpa to his 5 grandsons, Luciano, Isaac, Samuel, Benjamin and Domenic Jr. Cherished great grandfather to Emerson. Loved and missed by his Godchildren Brent, Fletcher, Angela, and Grace. Missed and loved by many friends and his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
