elevated L25Hp The family announces with sorrow, Maria DaCosta’s passing on October 8, 2025, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Evaristo DaCosta who passed away  April 10, 2019. Loving mother of David (Edith) and Joseph (Sandra). Cherished grandma of Victoria, Kaitlynn, Jason and Ryan. Maria and Evaristo immigrated to Winnipeg from the Azores in the 1950’s with only a suitcase in hand. Maria had a very long life, happily living at the Bradford Valley Community Home for her last few years.   Outlived by her sisters, Luisa (Leonilo), Artemisa (Jerry) and brother John (Deolinda).  She will be forever missed by her many nieces and nephews and extended family, friends and loved ones.

elevated L25Hp Maria’s passing will be deeply felt by many and her life will be joyously remembered and long celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have shared in it.  Forever loved and Forever remembered.
