elevated JWAW5 Panagiota passed away peacefully on Monday March 8, 2021, at the age of 82, surrounded by the everlasting love of her family. She was born on February 7, 1939, in Thana, Arcadia, Greece. She devoted her entire life to her family, always putting them first and wanting to make them happy. She loved to cook, bake, and tend to her garden. She was always gracious and generous to all and there was always a table full of food waiting for anyone that visited. Panagiota was the beloved and devoted wife to Christos Tsianos with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. She was the loving mother to George Tsianos (wife Angie Tsianos) and Christene Ranieri (husband Antonio Ranieri). Her beloved grandchildren Nicoletta Ranieri, Anthony Ranieri, Christopher Tsianos and Steven Tsianos will forever miss their Yiayia and her warm and beautiful heart. Panagiota is survived and remembered by her brothers Jim (wife Panagiota), George (wife Christine), and Chris (wife Dina). She is predeceased by her sister Maria (husband John), brothers Ted (wife Popi) and Bill (wife Fotini). She was a loyal and doting daughter to Nicholas and Athanasia Nikitopoulos. As well as brother and sister in-laws Anthoula (predeceased husband Kosta), Bill (wife Nike), Voula (husband Milto) and Nick (wife Fanoula) and predeceased brother-in-law Kosta (wife Aleka). Panagiota is also survived by her many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, koumbari, and many friends. She shared over 60 years of happy memories with her friend Cathy Ellicott. She is now an angel in heaven, as she was on earth. Forever loved and eternally in our thoughts and prayers.
