It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Quinto Delvecchio on August 23, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.
elevated RZUQB Quinto called Toronto home for 64 years. Born on May 6, 1934, on the Adriatic Coast in Fano, Pesaro, Italy to Attilio Delvecchio and Maria Delvecchio (nee Simoncelli).
elevated RZUQB In 1955 and 1956, Quinto completed his military service in the Italian Air Force. Stationed in Palermo, and Bari as a firefighter at an airfield.
elevated RZUQB Quinto worked in the cement forming industry since his mid-teens starting at Roberti and Paoletti in 1951. Then at St. Mary’s Cement in 1961 than finally at Canada Cement Lafarge in 1970 where he worked until his retirement.
elevated RZUQB Quinto had a passion for cement sculpting, gardening, fixing, repairing and inventing gadgets and tools. When approached with an issue or problem he would say, “Give me some time I will figure it out. ”
elevated RZUQB Quinto was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
elevated RZUQB Quinto is survived by his wife Anna Maria Delvecchio (nee Esposto Giovanelli) his daughters Mariangela (Rocco), Diana and son Enrico (Carla) and grandchildren Alessandro, Stefano, Erika.

I never met your Father in person but I felt I knew him well by your accounts and stories of him Diana. This was so sudden which makes it harder for all of you.

Quinto was one of the FINEST men I even worked with. Condolences, Thoughts & Prayers to the entire Delvecchio Family. He was definitely one of the good one’s & will be missed by every one who knew him. Rest in Paradise old Friend.
