It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Quinto Delvecchio on August 23, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.

elevated T8vuO Quinto called Toronto home for 64 years.  Born on May 6, 1934, on the Adriatic Coast in Fano, Pesaro, Italy to Attilio Delvecchio and Maria Delvecchio (nee Simoncelli).

elevated T8vuO In 1955 and 1956, Quinto completed his military service in the Italian Air Force. Stationed in Palermo, and Bari as a firefighter at an airfield.

elevated T8vuO Quinto worked in the cement forming industry since his mid-teens starting at Roberti and Paoletti in 1951.  Then at St. Mary’s Cement in 1961 than finally at Canada Cement Lafarge in 1970 where he worked until his retirement.

elevated T8vuO Quinto had a passion for cement sculpting, gardening, fixing, repairing and inventing gadgets and tools. When approached with an issue or problem he would say, “Give me some time I will figure it out. ”

elevated T8vuO Quinto was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather.  He will be missed by all those who knew him.

elevated T8vuO Quinto is survived by his wife Anna Maria Delvecchio (nee Esposto Giovanelli) his daughters Mariangela (Rocco), Diana and son Enrico (Carla) and grandchildren Alessandro, Stefano, Erika.
