It is with deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of Roberto Antonio Brescacin, who left us on January 7th, 2025 at the young age of 61. Rob was a person whose kindness and compassion touched the hearts of all who knew him. His unwavering love for family and friends was a testament to his generous spirit.
elevated xF8jg Born on January 27th in Toronto to Clara Brescacin and the late Giuseppe Brescacin, Rob lived a life full of warmth, joy and commitment. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or standing by and supporting loved ones during difficult time, Rob had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and important.
elevated xF8jg As a small business owner, he will be remembered for his hard work and his dedication to perfection. In his eyes, quality and workmanship mattered, he strongly believed in doing things right.
elevated xF8jg Rob leaves behind his wife and best friend Marie, his children Stephanie, Christina (Daniel) Moretto and his beloved Paris, his precious granddaughter Olivia, his mom Clara, his sister Sandra (Jean-Paul) Liut, his father in-law Peter, his brother-in-laws James (Sonya) McNally and Neil McNally. To his nieces, Crystal, Samantha (Chris), Nicole and Danielle, and his sole nephew Matthew (Christina), he was affectionately known as Uncle Rob. There is a special place in his heart for Aviana and Charlotte. He also leaves behind a host of friends and loved ones whose lives were touched in profound ways.

elevated xF8jg In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Canadian Lung Association or a charity of your choice that matters to you.
elevated xF8jg Though Rob is no longer with us, his legacy of love, kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

I will miss you .always looked up to you and enjoyed working with you and how many times you surprised me with concert tickets and take us out to bars and eat at California’s .Thank you for being a friend and older brother ,you were always there looking out for all of us.

I don’t think anyone will ever know just how much you mean to me.
Your voice still echos in my mind as I go through the motions of life. I feel your presence when I look at your pictures and I’m reminded of just how much love you had for me.
I will never forget all of the guidance and support you have given me through out the years or the way that you loved my Aviana- you were her biggest fan and I can’t thank you enough for the love you showed her.
You were the most selfless man with a heart not many were worthy of and I will forever be grateful i got to experience you in this life.
You will forever be one of the hardest goodbyes.

I had the privilege of meeting Rob through a mutual friend. Over time, we shared many lunches and worked together, during which I came to know him as a truly wonderful person with an incredible sense of humour. I met Rob through work. During that time I have come to know him as a generous, funny and kind person. He was selfless in his actions and came to feel like family. It is heartbreaking to hear of his loss. He will be deeply missed by his friends and coworkers. My condolences to his family.

Ellen admired you so much & I know with you now being with her, she will be in good hands. The number of people coming today to pay their respects is testament to how much of an influence you have been to so many people. Always dropping everything to go & help people. Every one had a story. To Marnie & the girls, how they shared you with everyone, even though it was a Sunday or very late night, you were always there. We thank them for sharing you with all of us.
