elevated sMT7N Obituary

elevated sMT7N It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Rosa D’Arecca (née Santeramo). She was born on March 6, 1935, in Ferrandina, Matera, Italy and died on May 23, 2020, in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

elevated sMT7N Rosa was predeceased by her husband Luigi of 62 years.  She was the loving mother of predeceased son, Enzo (Stefanie) and daughter Rosemary (Sam) Marra.  Her memory will live on in her grandchildren: Krista Rose (Luigi), Andrea, John-Lui, and Jessica (Trevor).  She reunites in heaven with her parents Michele and Maria, sister Angela, and brother Giovanni.  She will be missed by her sister-in-law Rosa, nieces, nephews, and friends. Rosa will forever be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the profound love that she had for her family.  Her love of cooking and gathering around the table for delicious meals united three generations at many cherished occasions.  Rosa’s perseverance and strength will never be forgotten.

elevated sMT7N We would like to thank the entire staff at Richview Manor Retirement Living who provided excellent care and support to Rosa over the past six months.

elevated sMT7N Given the current situation, the family is having a private service at Blessed Trinity Parish. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home and entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Thornhill, Ontario. In honour of Rosa’s memory, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

elevated sMT7N A few notes:

elevated sMT7N *when you send the link suggest that the people  go on at least 15 -30 minutes before the start time.  It takes a few minutes to establish a connection and for the video to launch

elevated sMT7N *when the video launches ask them to hover their mouse over the lower right hand part of the screen… there they will see a small speaker with an X beside it.  Click on the speaker to enable the sound (the X will disappear)

elevated sMT7N *the volume of the sound is controlled from the computer/device they are on.  They may need to increase the volume on their computer / device to hear things properly.
