elevated q4jt1 Obituary

elevated q4jt1 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sam Mina on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home and surrounded by his close family. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Renee, his daughters Amy Mina and Lisa Mina (Randall Huffman), and his grandchildren Benjamin, Tomhas and Lauryn. He is survived by his brothers Mark Mina (Shirlee) and Hani Yen, his brother-in-law Elias Honein, and predeceased by his father Togo Mina and his mother Elaine Salama, his brother-in-law Charles Honein, (Josephine). He is related to the families of Estafan, Francis and Naassan.

elevated q4jt1 Sam was a man of integrity and principle with a strong work and family ethic, and a keen sense of humour. He was loved and admired by all who knew him and worked with him.

elevated q4jt1 He was an electrical engineer who joined Trench Limited (now Siemens) almost 40 years ago and retired as Director of Marketing in 2012. Sam’s negotiation and organizational skills translated into successful business accomplishments at Trench Limited; his fun loving spirit and planning skills translated into several unique social events and worldwide trips for his many friends; his devotion to his family translated into unconditional love and support for his wife, children and grandchildren, and his spirituality translated into a calm and reassuring demeanour. He loved spending time at the beach, taking long walks, barbecuing, reading, playing cards and, above all, enjoying the company of family and friends. A gentleman, a loving father and husband, respected businessman, a thoughtful and kind friend, Sam will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
